DIARY OF A CEO

Diary of a CEO — Entry #8:

New Year’s Edition

The new year always arrives quietly. No matter how loud the celebrations are, January brings with it a stillness—an invitation to reset, refocus, and choose how you want to move forward. This year, my intention is simple but deliberate: a more measured approach to life and business.

Not slower. Not smaller.

Just more intentional.

The past year proved that what we’re building works. We’ve had real success with athletes and federations—trust earned through performance, credibility built through delivery. Those relationships have been some of the most rewarding parts of the journey so far, and in the year ahead, growing this area is a clear priority. Deeper collaboration, more structured programs, and long-term alignment rather than one-off wins. This is where impact truly compounds.

At the same time, 2026 is about getting our projects properly rolling. Less experimentation for experimentation’s sake, more execution. Turning concepts into systems, prototypes into platforms, and momentum into something repeatable. The foundations are there now. The challenge—and the opportunity—is to build on them without rushing, without forcing, and without losing sight of why we started.

Personally, this year marks a shift too. Getting back into shape isn’t just about health—it’s about alignment. Mind, body, and work should move in the same direction. I’m committed to training properly again, rebuilding consistency, and returning to racing. Not for nostalgia, not for ego—but because there is no better test bed than real competition. Racing is where theory meets reality. It’s where the parts we develop are exposed to pressure, fatigue, and truth. If it works there, it works anywhere.

There’s something powerful about being both the builder and the user. It keeps you honest. It keeps the feedback loop short. And it reminds you that performance is lived, not just designed.

As I step into this year, I feel grounded. Excited, but calm. Ambitious, but patient. The vision hasn’t changed—but the way I plan to reach it has matured. Measured decisions. Strong partnerships. Personal discipline. Relentless but sustainable progress.

The year ahead won’t be easy. But it doesn’t need to be chaotic to be successful.

Here’s to a year of momentum with meaning.

Here’s to building properly.

Here’s to testing everything—on paper, in the lab, and on the road.

The new year is here. And I’m ready for it.
